This privacy policy explains how personal data is processed on the jerryketola.fi website and in connection with appointments and coaching, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, 2016/679) and the Finnish Data Protection Act (1050/2018). Updated 25 September 2026.

3. Purpose and legal basis of processing

Personal data is processed to manage appointments and customer relationships, to provide osteopathy and coaching services, to answer contact requests and, with your consent, for marketing communications. The legal basis is the customer relationship and the performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and, for marketing and non-essential cookies, your consent.

Patient records related to treatment are kept separately in accordance with the legislation on patient records.

Data is collected from you when you book an appointment, contact us or buy a service.

6. Recipients and transfers

Data is not sold or disclosed to third parties for their own purposes. Appointments are made through the Vello booking service embedded on the site, and the data you enter when booking is processed in that service. Data may also be processed by the service providers that host the website and provide the services it uses, under data processing agreements. Data is not transferred outside the EU or the EEA unless a service provider does so in accordance with the GDPR, for example on the basis of the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

7. Retention

Data is kept for as long as the customer relationship continues or for as long as the law requires, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Security

The systems used to process data are protected with passwords, firewalls and other technical means, and access to data is limited to those who need it in their work. If a data breach affects you, you will be informed without undue delay.

9. Cookies

10. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have incorrect data rectified, to have your data erased, to restrict or object to processing and to data portability, as provided in the GDPR.
